Users can learn diverse recipes from around the world, and with a single click, have the ingredients added to their grocery list for a convenient and immersive cooking experience.

We undertook a UI/UX project to enhance the user experience of the Uber Eats app and introduce a new feature. Our goal was to improve the app's design and functionality, making it more user-friendly, visually appealing, and efficient. Additionally, we aimed to add a compelling new feature to the platform to enhance the overall experience for users.

Insights from User Interviews

Insights from user interviews shaped the development of a feature that integrates a global recipe library, one-click grocery integration, and interactive cooking tutorials. By understanding user preferences and habits, we created a seamless solution to enhance the cooking experience within the Uber app.
Insight 1
Users showed strong interest in exploring the app to discover new places and experiences, indicating a desire for varied and unique options.
Insight 2
Users expressed a need for easily identifying dishes that align with their calorie limitations and dietary preferences, emphasising the importance of personalised and health-conscious options.
Insight 3
The majority of users lean towards opting for takeout over delivery, indicating a preference for the convenience and flexibility it offers.

A significant number of users encounter issues related to order cancellations, highlighting the need for smoother and more reliable cancellation processes.
